Pye A Goliath: Batman Is Flying: Pancakes-MMM-Good

Oshawa: Feb 16: David (Goliath) Pye loves Oshawa Charity Euchre Cash.

Again he applied a jugger-naunt approach at the weekly O.C.E. friendly nite of cards held each Thursday at the Thornton-Dundee Community Centre. This 2011-2012 campaign he’s appearance once before and won. That was two weeks ago (Feb 2). At his first showing he claimed first prize money posting 88 points. During week 22 action, Pye conquered another twenty dollar bill – this time with a nifty 84 points for yet another win. The likeable Pye loves to dominate. He squeezed out a two point victory over LeGros ‘Mike’ Logan the second place holder. Others claiming top ten status were Kenny Graves (3rd) it was a deadlock for 4th between Shirley ‘Mighty Mite’ Robinson and Frances Hirst, Eric Goodwin (6th) Fay Graves and newcomer Peter Law shared (7th) while Rick Harrison and Don Richardson continued the chaotic log  jammed tied for (9th) Pye enjoyed success having Mike Logan, Peter Law and Kenny Graves as his partners. Toiling with Logan was a perfect fix scoring 17 big points including a trio of lone hands collectively during game four, with Law this combo produced 15 points during game six while the other double digit scoring was accomplished in game eight having 10 points with Kenny Graves as his side-kick.

Ronald ‘The Batman’ Hele departed for home a happy camper. He developed some much needed breathing room in the battle for the Year-To-Date  (YTD) in the most lone hands catorgy. Hele despite being down from his normal weekly total, still managed three. He’s opened a nine difference against nearest rival Taylor Brooks 63 to 54.  Brooks was shutout. With 8 games to complete the season, this prestigious title should be his. Players must appear in 70% (21 games) of the 30 game schedule.
